National Diversity Coalition Announces New Board Members
The National Diversity Coalition (NDC) proudly announces the appointment of new board members: Pastor Jack Miranda as Board Chair, Victor Fakrogha as Vice Chair and Treasurer, Robert J. Apodaca as Secretary, and Pramod Kunju as board member. This diverse group brings a wealth of experience and commitment to advancing diversity and equality across various fields.
"I’m beyond excited to work with committed, intelligent, and resourceful executive members of the board," said Faith Bautista Tamashiro, founder and president of the National Diversity Coalition. "With this new team, I have no doubt we will accomplish a lot more. In fact, in less than two weeks, we already saw lots of progress."
BOARD CHAIR, NDC: Pastor Jack Miranda
Pastor Jack Miranda is the founding pastor of Living Faith in La Mirada, an Assemblies of God-affiliated church. He serves as the Executive Director of the Jesse Miranda Center for Hispanic Leadership. Pastor Jack retired from California State service as a Youth Correctional Peace Officer/Counselor after 22 years. He holds a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies from Azusa Pacific University and an undergraduate degree from Vanguard University. Pastor Jack and his wife Eileen have been married for 43 years and have seven children and eight grandchildren.
VICE CHAIR - TREASURER, NDC: Victor Fakrogha
Victor Fakrogha is the First Vice President and Regional Market Manager for Community West Bank. With over 23 years of banking experience, Victor supports local businesses and champions diversity, equity, and inclusion, particularly in financial literacy. He conducts workshops and training sessions to empower minorities with essential financial skills and actively supports businesses owned by various minority groups.
SECRETARY, NDC: Robert J. Apodaca
Robert J. Apodaca is the Co-Founder of The Two Hundred for Homeownership, Inc. He leads a statewide coalition focused on reducing poverty through homeownership. Robert has extensive experience in both the private and public sectors, securing contracts for affordable housing and raising capital for nonprofit housing projects. He serves on multiple boards, including California Community Builders and Casita Coalition.
BOARD MEMBER, NDC: Pramod Kunju
Pramod Kunju, known as the "Data Guru," is an expert in data science and artificial intelligence. He founded Nakunj Inc, a consulting firm focused on data analytics and AI. Pramod is a former President of the Asian Business Association of Orange County and holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Pepperdine University. He also serves on the City of Irvine’s Sports Committee and is a Community Emergency Response Team volunteer.
These new additions to our leadership team will enhance our ability to serve our benefactors and advocate for diversity and inclusion.
