NDC's member organizations are representative of significant constituency, strongly advocating for the underserved. However, we cannot achieve substantial social impact without corporate partners. These strategic partnerships with public and private sectors have resulted in policy changes and/or have increased financial support directed at community programming.
These programs support a vast array of areas such as homeownership, financial literacy education for youth and adults, digital and broadband literacy, and affordable housing and healthcare to name a few. In addition, they provide access to resources that increase quality of life and improve supplier diversity programs that address various social determinants that are key to equitable treatment for all individuals, regardless of socio-economic status.

NDC's Methodology

INVESTIGATION
We conduct research, surveys, and engage and gauge the pulse of our own communities to address local concerns that directly affect their quality of life.

INVESTMENT
While it is true that creative solutions can sometimes be found with little or no money, there is no doubt that a lot more can be accomplished when public and private entities that control the community purse invest resources into mission-driven organizations

INVOLVEMENT
Our highest priority is to bring solutions to inequality which persists in our communities through policies that are set forth in the public and private domain.

INFLUENCE
NDC has proven to be a reliable partner to government agencies in voicing issues that are important to low-income and minority communities and offering concrete and practical solutions to address them, NDC members are passianate about touching lives and transforming communities.
