Dennis Santiago

Dennis Santiago holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at the National Diversity Coalition. He is in charge of running the group day-to-day. Mr. Santiago contributes his extensive knowledge and experience in C-Suite management, technological skills, and policy understanding to support NDC's business operations and advocacy endeavors. Dennis is the Senior Managing Director for Risk, Compliance, and Analytics of Total Bank Solutions LLC, a brokerage and bank payer of insured brokered deposits. Lord Whalen LLC dba Institutional Risk Analytics, where Mr. Santiago founded the Bank Monitor safety and soundness analytics system, produced “Shadow CAMELS” ratings used by the SEC and adopted by Ohio to manage its pooled collateral risk program.

His community involvement began in 1992. He worked with Rebuild LA after the 1992 Los Angeles uprising. Dennis contributed to community policing development in the mid-1990s with the LAPD and LASO. Since 1995, he has volunteered as a community coordinator and rangemaster in Manhattan Beach. In 2011, Dennis assisted the City of Los Angeles in creating a Responsible Banking Ordinance.

Mission:

A pioneering 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to building greater capacity in emerging and existing Latino leaders. Transforming the church, community, and campus through education, leadership, and research.

Celebrating Achievements of 3rd Step Ministry in 2022

We are thrilled to share the outstanding accomplishments of our valued partner, 3rd Step Ministry, throughout the year 2022. Their unwavering dedication to fostering diversity and community well-being has resulted in remarkable achievements.

1. Empowering Support Groups:

Launched new support groups, providing vital spaces for community connection and support.

2. Successful Event Hosting:

Orchestrated a highly successful event with over 300 attendees, 100+ volunteers, and participation from 20 recovery homes.

3. Literary Contributions:

Published a series of impactful books, including "Connection & Communication," "TBRI," "Women's Way Through the 12 Steps," and more.

4. Scholarship Program Success:

Raised an impressive $3k for their scholarship program, benefiting two deserving recipients with $500 each.

5. Community Engagement:

One scholarship recipient volunteered at the scholarship booth, emphasizing community engagement.

6. Grant Funding Achievement:

Successfully secured $25k in grant funding, providing a significant boost to their programs and initiatives.

7. Educational Initiatives:

Delivered an enlightening 8-week relationship course to female residents in recovery homes in LA County.
Participants received a downloadable TBRI workbook and reference books, enhancing their learning experience.

8. Transformative Event Highlights:

Hosted a transformative event featuring a Chick-fil-A lunch, resource booths, DJ+Dancing, and testimonials.
Resulted in over 90% positive feedback, 120 recommitments to Christ, and 45 first-time commitments.

9. Marketing and Social Engagement:

Launched several marketing materials and social media initiatives, expanding their reach and impact.

10. Literary Contributions Continued:

Gave away books at events and successfully sold books on Amazon, spreading their impactful message.

11. Adopt-A-Home Program Launch:

Introduced the "Adopt-A-Home" program, fostering relationships between churches and recovery homes.
Aiming to start with 5 churches and 5 recovery homes, focusing on pre-evangelistic events and community building.
