Robert J. Apodaca
Robert J. Apodaca, Co-Founder of The Two Hundred for Homeownership, Inc., has a professional and civic career spanning private and public sectors and several industries.
As Executive Director of The Two Hundred, he leads a state-wide coalition that mitigates the increase of poverty through homeownership and fighting other issues that contribute to poverty.
While attending college, he co-founded a university student housing program and purchased property through a nonprofit organization for 40 students that remains in operation after 54 years. Working with a prominent architectural firm, he secured contracts to design and develop over 2,00 affordable and market-rate units. Recently, he raised private capital for a nonprofit organization to build 73 affordable housing units for 30% of AMI residents. Robert serves on the board of directors of California Community Builders, Casita Coalition, National Diversity Coalition, Community Housing Opportunity Corporation, and The Two Hundred for Homeownership.
