It was a great time to be an advocacy group in DC.
The unique thing about the National Diversity Coalition is that it relies on all of its members to lead important meetings with our nation’s key political, policy, and regulatory leaders. Our conversations discussing the sustainability of America’s historically underserved populations echo not only in the history of NDC’s efforts, but in the history of America. NDC, thank you for shaking the tree from the top with me. A dream you dream alone is only a dream, but a dream you dream together is a reality. With every year that passes we get bigger, and we get better. With that I cannot express this enough - it is my honor to further our cause alongside each and every one of you...
The mission of the National Diversity Coalition (NDC) is to empower our nation’s minority communities by advocating for public policies that benefit low-to-moderate income families, providing them increased opportunities of influence with Federal, State and local regulatory agencies on a broad range of consumer, business and environmental issues.
Our March 2018 trip to DC was by far one of the best rounds of meetings we've had in the past three years. President and CEO, Faith Bautista, General Counsel, Bob Gnaizda, and others have been actively engaged with government officials for many years – and the fruit of their labor was plainly felt, as the caliber of our meetings was informative, insightful, and influential. It was a very empowering time for all NDC members who were able to attend.
Faith Bautista was sworn in as a member of the U.S. Treasury Department’s Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund Community Advisory Board on Thursday, November 16th, 2017. Faith was appointed by the Trump administration to serve for a total of four years.
