Regina Grant Peterson


 

Since 2016, Regina Grant Peterson has served as a Board Director and Board Secretary on the National Diversity Coalition (NDC), a non-profit advocacy organization comprised of community and faith-based organizations working for greater financial equality and empowerment for underserved communities.

Ms. Peterson is actively engaged with a new community-based organization, LA South Hope Foundation, which was established in 2020 to engage, educate, empower and inspire hope in underserved communities in Los Angeles and other cities in the South Bay. It also serves as the sister organization to the LA South Chamber of Commerce which has been in operation since 2016, has over 350 members, and continues to grow even during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Ms. Peterson serves on the Boards of both organizations and as Treasurer to the Foundation. Ms. Peterson has an extensive background in working for government, community and economic development non-profits, and an SBA licensed intermediary providing capital through the 504 and 7(a) loan programs. In January of 2021, Ms. Peterson established her own business, Anchored Business Consulting Services, LLC, which helps new and existing businesses access capital, non-profit compliance, establishing business credit, first-time homebuyer programs, developing and implementing business development training series, and a variety of day-to-day business issues. In addition, she is a member of the Community Advisory Board of The Change Company, Community Advisory Board for Royal Business Bank, and the Advisory Board for CDC Small Business Finance – New Markets Tax Credits.
